- Household sharing and iCloud context
- No ad-tech or third-party tracking
- Contact path for privacy questions
1. What data we collect
ClearKeep stores the following data that you create inside the app:
- Rooms and chores — names, types, and cleaning frequencies you configure
- Pet profiles — pet type (rabbit, cat, dog), name, and hygiene routine settings
- Cleaning sessions — start time, end time, tasks completed, and session type
- Household setup — display name you choose, room assignments, and sharing preferences
- Anonymous operational counts — local diagnostics such as 'onboarding completed' stored only on your device and never transmitted to SummitNinety or any third party
What we do not collect
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or any account credentials
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA or equivalent)
- Health or medical data
- Contacts or address book
- Camera or photo library access
- Usage analytics or crash reports sent to SummitNinety or third parties
2. How data is stored
On-device. All rooms, chores, pets, sessions, and household setup are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's Core Data framework. iCloud. If you are signed into iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, your data syncs to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. Only you (and Apple, per their iCloud terms: apple.com/legal/internet-services/icloud/) can access this data. SummitNinety has no access to your iCloud account. UK iCloud note. In 2025 Apple removed Advanced Data Protection for UK iCloud accounts. iCloud-stored ClearKeep data may be accessible to Apple under UK law. ClearKeep itself has no access to that data under any circumstances. We operate no custom backend servers of our own. No ClearKeep data is ever transmitted to SummitNinety infrastructure.
3. Household sharing
ClearKeep's household sharing feature uses Apple's native CloudKit sharing (CKShare). When you share a household, the data is stored and transported using Apple's iCloud infrastructure. SummitNinety cannot read, access, or process shared household data at any point.
4. Notifications
ClearKeep can send local notifications for cleaning reminders and session prompts. All notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. No notification content is sent to any server. You can enable or disable notifications in ClearKeep → Settings or in iOS Settings → ClearKeep. Notifications are optional and are not required for the app to function.
5. In-app purchases
ClearKeep Plus subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store using StoreKit. ClearKeep does not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or any other payment information. Please see Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy/ for information on how Apple handles payment data. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID — no ClearKeep account is required.
6. Third-party SDKs and analytics
ClearKeep contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. There are no integrations with Facebook, Google, or any similar advertising or analytics services.
7. Data export and deletion
You can manage your data at any time:
- Export — export all your ClearKeep data as a JSON backup from Settings → Data → Export Backup
- Restore — restore data from a previously exported backup from Settings → Data → Restore Backup
- Full reset — permanently delete all local ClearKeep records from Settings → Data → Reset All Data
8. App Store privacy nutrition label
ClearKeep's declared data types on the App Store:
- Usage Data (anonymous local diagnostics): Data Not Linked to You
- All other categories: Not Collected
9. Your rights
Because your data lives on your device and in your personal iCloud account, you control it directly. You can access, export, or delete your data at any time using the tools described in section 7. For any privacy requests or questions, contact us at support@summitninety.com.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app is updated or when legal requirements change. Material changes will be noted in the app release notes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
